Hi, welcome to my rugby blog. As an Irish rugby fan the week before the 6 Nations visit to Paris is a nervous one. It's 10 years since Brian O Driscoll's hatrick put an end to almost 20 years of pain in Paris, in the meantime Ireland has enjoyed the most sucessful period in its rugby history and yet we haven't beaten France in Paris since .
Some good news, Stephen Ferris is fit. Kevin McLaughlin was a strange pick for the Italy game and I don't think he was ever going to start in Paris as we need all the big guns for Saturday and Ferris is world class. Ronan O Gara has been picked at out-half, personally i think its time for Jonathan Sexton to take over from ROG but Declan Kidney is the shrewdest of coaches and I have no fears of ROG.Good to see Leo Cullen get another start.
So its on to Paris and hopefully another win to celebrate.Best of luck to the Under 20s on Friday night and come on Ireland on Sat......
